In aanwezigheid van onder andere Viviane Reding, Eurocommissaris Justitie en Burgerrechten, vindt op 1 december een bijeenkomst van het Privacy Platform plaats.
Naast Reding spreken ook Jacob Kohnstamm, voorzitter Article 29 Working Party, en Peter Hustinx, European Data Protection Supervisor over een alomvattende aanpak van de bescherming van persoonsgegevens in de Europese Unie.
De bijeenkomst van het Privacy Platform is onder voorzitterschap van Sophie in 't Veld.
